Registered Clinical Counsellor
Getting Started
Extended Health Benefits, Insurance Coverage and Direct Billing
As a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) my services are covered under most extended health benefits plans.
Coverage varies by provider and plan, so I recommend checking with your insurance company to confirm whether sessions with a RCC or CCC are included in your benefits.

When contacting your provider, you may want to ask:
-
Does my plan cover services provided by a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) or by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)?
-
Do I require a doctor’s referral?
-
How many sessions are covered per year, or what is the total amount of coverage I have each year?

During intake, you’re welcome to provide your insurance information if you would like me to direct bill your provider on your behalf. I’m able to direct bill to the majority of insurance companies.

We accept billing through the Autism Funding Unit (AFU). If you plan to use AFU, please discuss this in our first contact.

Sliding scale pricing is also available for clients who may not have insurance coverage or are experiencing financial hardship. Please feel free to reach out to discuss options that work for your situation.
