Registered Clinical Counsellor
Getting Started
Extended Health Benefits & Insurance Coverage
As a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, my services may be covered under your extended health benefits plan.
Coverage varies by provider and plan, so I recommend checking with your insurance company to confirm whether sessions with a RCC or CCC are included in your benefits.

When contacting your provider, you may want to ask:
-
Does my plan cover services provided by a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) or by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)?
-
Do I require a doctor’s referral?
-
How many sessions are covered per year, or what is the total amount of coverage I have each year?
At the end of each session, I will provide a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

We’re currently in the process of setting up direct billing with insurance providers. We appreciate your patience as we work through the setup process and look forward to offering this convenience soon!

We accept billing through the Autism Funding Unit (AFU). If you plan to use AFU, please discuss this in our first contact.

Sliding scale pricing is also available for clients who may not have insurance coverage or are experiencing financial hardship. Please feel free to reach out to discuss options that work for your situation.
