Therapy for When Life Feels Harder Than It Should

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck—struggling with depression, relationship issues, or feeling like something just isn’t working. You might be navigating challenges in a romantic relationship, family dynamics, or friendships. You may find communication difficult, feel constantly misunderstood, or like you’re walking on eggshells. These are all common—and valid—reasons to reach out.

You’ve always felt like life takes more effort for you than it does for others.

Whether it’s managing everyday responsibilities, navigating relationships, or simply being understood, everything just seems harder.

Parenting wasn’t supposed to feel like this.

You love your child deeply—but the meltdowns, defiance, anxiety, or outbursts are exhausting. You’ve tried the parenting books, the rewards, the consequences—and still, nothing seems to stick.

You’re not imagining it. Something doesn’t feel right in your relationship.

Maybe you’re constantly walking on eggshells. Maybe your partner’s words leave you feeling small, confused, or worthless.

My Approach

I believe that healing begins in a space of safety, connection, and deep respect for each person's unique story. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, ensuring that every step of our work together honours your autonomy, resilience, and lived experience. I am passionate about offering neurodiversity-affirming support, celebrating diverse ways of thinking, feeling, and being, and helping individuals and families embrace their authentic selves without judgment. When appropriate, I also incorporate animal-assisted therapy into my work—offering the calming, grounding presence of a therapy dog to support emotional regulation, build trust, and foster a sense of connection and comfort in the therapeutic space.  â€‹â€‹

Chloe and Co. Therapy

I respectfully acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam Nations. These lands, now known as North and West Vancouver, have been home to Indigenous peoples for countless generations

I am deeply grateful to be able to live, learn, and support others on this land. As a counsellor, I commit to ongoing reflection, learning, and engagement in the spirit of reconciliation and respect.
