A Space to Feel Understood

I support neurodivergent adults—including those with ADHD, who are autistic, or those exploring or adjusting to a late diagnosis—who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling misunderstood, burnt out, or struggling with communication, relationships, or self-worth.

Many of my clients also experience challenges such as disordered eating, intrusive or persistent thoughts (including OCD), depression, anxiety, and/or PTSD. These experiences are common and understandable responses to living in environments that may not always feel supportive or regulating.

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that supports the reprocessing of trauma, distressing experiences, and unhelpful belief patterns that no longer serve you. EMDR can help reduce the emotional intensity of past experiences and create space for more adaptive, self-supportive ways of thinking and relating to yourself.

I offer a neuroaffirming, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. My approach is grounded in therapies that are respectful of neurodivergent experiences—you won't find approaches here that aim to suppress or "fix" neurodivergent traits or that have been shown to be harmful, distressing or traumatizing.

Rather than focusing on changing your behaviours, I work to understand them. Together, we'll explore what your nervous system is communicating, identify your strengths, build supports that work for you, and look at how your environment may be contributing to the challenges you're experiencing. The goal isn't to help you fit into the world at any cost—it's to help you better understand yourself while creating a life that fits you.

My Approach

I believe that healing begins in a space of safety, connection, and deep respect for each person's unique story. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, ensuring that every step of our work together honours your autonomy, resilience, and lived experience. I am passionate about offering neurodiversity-affirming support, celebrating diverse ways of thinking, feeling, and being, and helping individuals and families embrace their authentic selves without judgment. When appropriate, I also incorporate animal-assisted therapy into my work—offering the calming, grounding presence of a therapy dog to support emotional regulation, build trust, and foster a sense of connection and comfort in the therapeutic space.
